ABOUT

EVAN HENDERSON
I was a dominating force on the senior-level for ten years. I recently retired from competition, but you never know. I could return. Grew up in the small town of Armagh, in the middle of farm and coal country Pennsylvania. I represented Titan Mercury Wrestling Club during my time as a professional athlete and various RTCs. As of late, I was an assistant coach for Lehigh University before moving back to the Pittsburgh Area.
Early Career and Education: My wrestling journey began at United High School in Armagh, PA, where I placed 6th as a freshman. From there, I transferred to Kiski Prep in Saltsburg, PA. I was a three-time National Prep Finalist and two-time champion. Did I belong at that school? Probably not. Nonetheless, it granted me the opportunity to receive a full scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There, I had the opportunity to be coached by legendary Pennsylvania wrestler Cary Kolat. Under his guidance, I became a two-time All-American (4th &6th). Also, tacked on a University National Champion in tenure at UNC (now called U23s). I earned a degree majoring in Communications and a Minor in Coaching.
Senior-Level Achievements: As a senior-level athlete, I made what I would consider significant improvements and reached new highs in the sports, which I hadn't reached before. Accolades include:
